I began my fitness journey at a young age with both of my parents working as coaches. Growing up surrounded by sports, I spent countless hours in gyms and weight rooms, even before I can remember. By the time I officially started team sports at 13, I had already dedicated many hours to weights and running.

I began my fitness journey at a young age with both of my parents working as coaches. Growing up surrounded by sports, I spent countless hours in gyms and weight rooms, even before I can remember. By the time I officially started team sports at 13, I had already dedicated many hours to weights and running.
Fast forward to 2021: I almost died of COVID at this time--pretty sure if I were single I would have. I lost a lot of muscle mass (about 20lbs) and almost all of my cardio. For the first time in forever, I could not jog a mile without stopping. As soon as we were able, we scraped and saved and bought a small piece of land in the country so that we would have room to move and breathe. I gradually began to train again, and over about two years got back to nearly the level that I had been in my mid-20s with strength, but with more emphasis on my cardio that I had taken for granted until now. From this experience, my 4-week templates were born as these are basically what I used over this time to get back in fighting shape. I now stay fit to be able to grow food and take care of my family for the long haul rather than win sports.
Although my goals have evolved, I have remained committed to improving my fitness, ready to tackle whatever challenges life presents to me, my family, and my community. Real life demands fitness from men.
